Barbier is scheduled to present on “Safety-Critical Physical AI Applications Using RISC-V” and participate in a panel focused on selecting appropriate chiplets for edge applications. Additionally, Sam Grove, Head of Software and Tools at MIPS, will provide insights on accelerating chiplet designs through software guidance. His remarks will emphasize the importance of a software-first approach in modern system design, facilitated by tools like the MIPS Atlas Explorer.
Chuck Sobey, the General Chair of Chiplet Summit, highlighted the importance of processor decisions in system design, noting that MIPS’ expertise will aid attendees in adopting software-driven RISC-V designs.
