Legal research startup Midpage has announced a new integration with the AI model Claude, enhancing the efficiency of legal research and drafting processes. This collaboration allows users to leverage Claude’s capabilities alongside Midpage’s extensive database of case law and citator, facilitating a more efficient workflow for tackling legal queries.
Based in New York, Midpage aims to respond to increasing customer demand for advanced AI tools in legal tasks. The integration will enable users to generate drafts of memos and briefs, link case facts within Claude projects, and perform comprehensive legal searches enriched with proprietary metadata. This ensures that law firms can maximize the features of both platforms without having to choose between them.
While Anthropic, the creator of Claude, has also ventured into legal technology by releasing specialized plugins, it clarified that this integration with Midpage does not represent an official partnership. Users will need active subscriptions to both Midpage and the premium versions of Claude, such as Claude Pro or Claude Enterprise, to access the new features.
