Starting today, Google Labs introduces a new AI tool named CC, designed to improve productivity by delivering a personalized “Your Day Ahead” briefing to users every morning. This innovative agent compiles essential elements from users' schedules, tasks, and updates into a concise summary, streamlining daily planning.
CC integrates with various Google services, including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, utilizing Gemini models to enhance its functionality. Users can interact with CC by responding to the daily email, allowing the agent to learn more about their preferences and make necessary adjustments. Feedback options via thumbs up/down are also included to refine its performance.
Currently, access is limited to Google consumer accounts in the US and Canada, with a waitlist in place prioritizing Google AI Ultra and paid subscribers. While this feature is in its experimental phase, users are encouraged to enable Workspace Smart Settings to participate.
