The AI Mode from Google is expanding its capabilities to include restaurant bookings in eight additional countries. Users can now utilize this feature in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the UK.
This functionality allows individuals to specify their dining preferences through prompts, including time, location, cuisine type, and party size. The AI will search through various reservation platforms to provide users with suitable options. The redesigned prompt box now features a bottom sheet interface on both Android and iOS devices, with large buttons for Gallery and Camera, and a sole image creation tool available on mobile.
The rollout of these features is ongoing and does not require a Labs opt-in. The AI Mode aims to enhance user experience with its new design and expanded functionality, further integrating into the daily lives of users.
