Gemini in Chrome is expanding its availability to several countries in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, Indonesia, Japan, and others, following its initial launch in the United States and three other nations. This rollout began today, enabling users in these new markets to access features that enhance their browsing experience.
With capabilities such as summarizing content, comparing information across tabs, and scheduling meetings, Gemini in Chrome aims to streamline various tasks. Users can easily launch the tool from the top-right corner of their browser or via keyboard shortcuts on desktop systems, including Mac and Windows.
This new functionality also includes personalized features that remember context from previous interactions, allowing for tailored responses. Moreover, Gemini is being introduced to the iOS browser, although it remains unavailable in Japan. To customize settings, users can navigate to Chrome Settings and find the AI innovations section.
