Gemini 3 Flash has begun its extensive rollout across the Gemini app and AI Mode, marking one of Google's swiftest updates to its AI models. As of this morning, users can access the new capabilities on gemini.google.com. The model picker has been updated to include a new “Gemini 3” label, enhancing options for users seeking quick or complex solutions.
Since the introduction of Gemini 3 Pro in November, the model picker featured options such as “Fast” for quick answers and “Thinking with 3 Pro” for in-depth problem-solving. With the latest update, Gemini 3 Flash is now the default model for AI Mode, offering users improved contextual awareness.
Additionally, users in the United States can access both Gemini 3 Pro and a new image model, Nano Banana Pro, with advanced functionality available through the dropdown menu. Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers will benefit from increased usage limits.
