Geekom has launched its inaugural laptop, the GeekBook X16 Pro, aimed at providing performance-focused features at a competitive price of approximately $1,699. With a 16-inch display, this device is designed for both professionals and casual users, equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and Intel Arc graphics.
Weighing only 1.27 kg (2.8 pounds) and measuring 0.68 cm (0.27 inches) thick, the laptop is highly portable while maintaining a variety of connectivity options. It includes ports such as two USB-C, two USB-A, an HDMI port, and a microSD card reader. The display offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and achieves 98% coverage of the sRGB color gamut.
Performance benchmarks have shown the GeekBook X16 Pro achieving scores of 2,375 in single-core tests and 7,926 in multi-core evaluations using Geekbench 6. Battery life is impressive, lasting nearly 11 hours under typical usage, and the included 65W charger enables quick recharges. However, users have reported concerns regarding fan noise and the absence of Windows Hello facial recognition, as it only features a fingerprint reader.
