IBM and Ferrari have revealed a new partnership focused on enhancing fan interaction via the Scuderia Ferrari app, especially during the upcoming 2026 Formula 1 season. Key features include an interactive AI Companion, built on IBM watsonx, which offers personalized insights into Ferrari's history and allows users to ask specific questions about the team and its cars.
The app will also introduce a unified Game Center, enabling fans to participate in quizzes and race predictors, complete with global leaderboards. This feature aims to foster community engagement by creating a fun, social media-oriented environment for users. Additionally, a Countdown Quiz will challenge users’ knowledge against a 60-second timer, while the Profile section now showcases an Achievements tab for unlocking digital badges, encouraging active participation.
Race weekends will be enhanced with a more dynamic Race Center experience that provides detailed timelines and real-time data on driver performance. IBM is set to add further features to the app throughout 2026, responding to fans' desire for a deeper connection to the sport and its participants.
