By analyzing over 130 studies across various disciplines, the team discovered that LLM outputs tend to lack the variability found in human-generated content. This is attributed to the models' tendency to reproduce dominant patterns from their training data, which often reflects a narrow range of perspectives. As a result, users interacting with these AI tools may inadvertently adopt similar viewpoints.
