The series, directed by Matthew Hamachek and Erica Sashin, aims to provide an in-depth look at the team's evolution under coach Geno Auriemma, highlighting its remarkable success over the past four decades.
UConn has achieved an unprecedented 12 national championships, making it the most successful team in NCAA Division I basketball history, both men's and women's. The docuseries will feature exclusive interviews, previously unseen archival footage, and personal stories from players, coaches, and alumni, reflecting on the program’s rigorous culture of discipline and excellence.
Additionally, this new installment follows Apple TV's earlier release, ‘The Dynasty: New England Patriots,’ which chronicled the legendary era of the Patriots under Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and Robert Kraft. Apple TV, which offers a subscription at $12.99 per month, continues to expand its sports-themed content with titles such as ‘F1 The Movie’ and ‘Stephen Curry: Underrated.’
