The third season of the international thriller series Tehran debuts today on Apple TV, marking the start of the service's 2026 content lineup. New episodes will be released weekly, concluding on February 27. This season introduces Hugh Laurie as a South African nuclear inspector, alongside returning star Niv Sultan, who reprises her role as Tamar.
Originally filmed over four years ago, the season faced delays related to its sensitive themes concerning ongoing events in Israel and Palestine. Despite fans waiting more than three years since the second season finale, Apple has now opted to air the show, which has already been broadcast in full on Israeli network KAN 11.
Looking ahead, Apple plans to release several new seasons of popular series in the coming weeks. This includes Idris Elba in season two of Hijack next week, followed by Drops of God and the third season of Shrinking. February will also see the addition of the A24 rom-com Eternity on February 13, and a new original series titled Imperfect Women debuting on March 18.
