Spotify has unveiled a partnership with Peloton to enhance its fitness content offerings, expanding its role as a comprehensive workout platform. Users will now have access to an array of video classes and playlists curated by popular wellness creators, in addition to existing workout playlists.
The initiative aims to cater to the growing demand for fitness-related content, with over 70% of Spotify members reportedly using the platform during exercise sessions. This new feature is accessible to both free and Premium users, who can find the fitness genre by searching "fitness" in the app.
Premium subscribers will benefit from Peloton's extensive library of ad-free on-demand classes, available in multiple languages including English, Spanish, and German. Offline access to these workouts will also be available for users who download them.
Spotify’s vice president, Roman Wasenmüller, emphasized the company's commitment to integrating fitness into its ecosystem, aiming to support users in enhancing their wellbeing through a diverse range of fitness content.
