In 2025, Seattle’s Pike Place Market emerged as the leading destination for Lime e-bike and e-scooter riders in North America. This marks a significant increase, with riders taking a total of 9.7 million trips in Seattle, reflecting a 61% increase compared to the previous year.
August was particularly notable, with over 1.3 million rides recorded, making it the month with the highest ridership. The busiest single day for Lime trips was September 27, when nearly 60,000 trips were completed. Additionally, since the launch of the LimeGlider in May, riders have taken more than 1.8 million trips.
Lime operates as part of Seattle’s micromobility program alongside Bird, facilitating short-term rentals of e-bikes and scooters. To support this growing usage, the Seattle Department of Transportation announced plans to introduce more than 200 new bike and scooter corrals throughout the city, aimed at improving parking practices and reducing sidewalk congestion.
As part of its annual recap, Lime’s “2025 Ride Replay” showcases user statistics and achievements, with themes that allow riders to reflect on their journeys across different cities.
