The new subscription service, Instagram Plus, is now available for users at a monthly fee of $3.99. This launch provides enhanced tools aimed at expanding the reach of content for subscribers. Key features include Story Spotlight, which boosts visibility to friends, and Story Extend, extending the lifespan of disappearing content from 24 to 48 hours.
In addition to these features, users can curate audience lists for specific stories and access statistics on story views. There are options for previewing stories and searching who has viewed them. Subscribers can also customize their profiles by selecting app icons and text fonts, alongside the ability to pin six items at the top of their profiles and send animated reactions.
In a statement, Meta indicated that further enhancements to the Instagram Plus service are expected in the upcoming months, reflecting their commitment to continuously improve user experience.
