HBO Max is set to enhance its programming offerings in January 2026, with a range of new and returning original series. Notably, the second season of The Pitt will debut alongside the highly anticipated series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, created by George R.R. Martin, which premieres mid-month. Additionally, fans can look forward to the return of Industry for its fourth season and Real Time With Bill Maher for its 24th season.
The streaming service will also introduce two original documentaries, including a feature on the legendary Mel Brooks. Viewers can expect a selection of popular films arriving on January 1, along with two award-nominated movies set to make their streaming debuts. Among these are The Smashing Machine, a biographical sports drama led by Dwayne Johnson, and the acclaimed psycho-thriller If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, which boasts a 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The complete lineup for January includes a variety of films, such as A Most Violent Year, Ex Machina, and all three installments of John Wick, among many others.
