Google has introduced a new feature called Me Meme in its Google Photos application, allowing users to create customized memes featuring a synthetic version of themselves. This feature is aimed at enhancing AI adoption by leveraging personal photos to generate shareable content for social interactions.
Users can select from various templates or upload their own images to generate unique memes. The release is expected to roll out gradually to both Android and iOS users in the upcoming weeks, although not all users currently have access to this functionality.
To create a meme, users can navigate to the Create section within the Google Photos app, choose a template, and upload a reference photo. The feature is designed to work best with clear, well-lit portrait images, although Google cautions that results may vary as the tool is still in an experimental phase.
