After a brief disruption, Discord has restored most of its services following an outage that impacted several users. The issue was first acknowledged by the company at 3:08 PM ET, when it began investigating problems with its API systems. By 3:24 PM ET, Discord confirmed it had pinpointed the issue but noted that users were still experiencing difficulties accessing the app.
At 3:56 PM ET, Discord communicated its ongoing efforts to address the availability problems, which affected logging in and messaging capabilities. The situation improved significantly by 4:16 PM ET, as the company reported a noticeable recovery across its systems. However, it wasn't until 6:38 PM ET that Discord announced all critical functions had returned to normal for all users.
Despite the initial challenges, the quick resolution allowed users to regain access to the popular chat platform before the end of the day.
