The hit comedy The Studio has achieved a milestone by becoming the most-nominated television series at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards. This recognition comes as Apple TV prepares for a significant weekend with the upcoming Golden Globes, anticipated to yield notable wins for the platform.
Among the nominations, The Studio earned five accolades, surpassing all other shows this year. It secured two nominations for both male and female actors in the “Outstanding Performance” categories, as well as a nod for ensemble cast performance. Competing for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series are Ike Barinholtz and Seth Rogen, while the female category includes Kathryn Hahn and Catherine O’Hara.
The Actor Awards, which is a revamped version of the SAG-AFTRA awards, will broadcast live on Netflix in March. Apple TV's nominees also feature Gary Oldman for Slow Horses and Rhea Seehorn for Pluribus, indicating a potentially celebratory event for the streaming service.
