Palm Royale, the comedy series on Apple TV, has been officially canceled after its second season, leaving fans disappointed. The show, which premiered on March 20, 2024, ran for a total of 20 episodes and was based on Julie McDaniel’s novel "Mr. and Mrs. American Pie."
Despite receiving 11 Emmy nominations for its first season, including a win for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music, the series struggled to find a broad audience, achieving only a 60% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.8/10 on IMDb. The series featured a prominent cast, including Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and Carol Burnett.
Fans were left with unresolved plotlines after the season finale aired in January. Apple did not provide any comments regarding the cancellation when approached by Deadline.
