Apple has identified and addressed multiple vulnerabilities in the newly released Safari 26.5. The update includes patches for 20 WebKit flaws, which could potentially expose sensitive user data or lead to unexpected crashes. In addition to these security enhancements, updates were also rolled out earlier this week for iOS 26.5, iPadOS, and macOS versions.
Among the issues resolved, one particular vulnerability could prevent the enforcement of Content Security Policy due to a validation issue. This was rectified through improved logic. Other vulnerabilities addressed include those that could lead to crashes caused by maliciously crafted web content, which have been mitigated with enhanced memory handling techniques.
The fixes are specifically available for users on macOS Sonoma and macOS Sequoia. Apple continues to encourage users to update their systems to ensure the best possible security measures are in place.
