Images of the upcoming Xbox Elite Controller 3 have surfaced, thanks to a leak from Brazil's regulatory body, Anatel. The controller features enhancements such as dual scroll wheels for thumb control and a new front pairing button that allows switching between local and cloud modes.
Additionally, the D-pad has been redesigned, and the gamepad will reportedly transition to a removable, rechargeable battery. The leak follows another earlier today, where Tecnoblog showcased a smaller gamepad thought to be a new Xbox Cloud Gaming controller.
This marks a significant update for the Elite series, which last saw a refresh in 2019. The second generation was made customizable via the Design Lab in 2022. With regulators reviewing the device, its official launch may be imminent, potentially aligning with Microsoft's summer showcase scheduled in just a few weeks.
