Later this month, a new battle royale mode named Black Ops Royale will be launched for the popular game Call of Duty. Set to become available on March 13, this mode will allow up to 100 players to engage in matches as teams of four.
Black Ops Royale is designed to honor the original battle royale experience from CoD: Black Ops 4, specifically the Blackout mode. Players will navigate the expansive Avalon map, but the gameplay will differ significantly from Warzone, as elements such as loadouts, the gulag, and buy stations will be absent.
Instead, participants will need to scavenge weapons reminiscent of those from the recent Black Ops 7 and enhance them throughout the match. The mode aims to integrate familiar features like weapon handling and bullet drop, with modern updates for current Warzone fans, alongside a customizable perks system that echoes the original game mechanics.
