This week, Lenovo introduced the new Legion Tab (Gen 5), alongside a unique accessory called the Legion Y700 Tablet Arcade Dock. The dock transforms the 8.8-inch Android tablet into a compact arcade unit, featuring an arcade-style joystick and multiple buttons for enhanced gameplay.
Retailing for approximately $60 after conversion, the dock is currently available exclusively in China for ¥399. Its design caters to retro gaming enthusiasts, leveraging Android's flexibility for emulator support. While third-party controllers exist, the arcade dock offers a distinct and playful experience.
As Lenovo prepares to launch the Legion Tab globally at a price of $849, there are hopes for the arcade dock to reach international markets as well. Currently, it remains uncertain if the dock will be sold outside China, but it may appear on platforms like AliExpress if demand grows.
