The psychological horror thriller, co-written and directed by O’Hara and Adam Hoelzel, centers around O’Hara's character, Ro, who is a mushroom expert caught in a love triangle that leads to themes of obsession and body horror. Bode portrays Ro’s ambitious mycological research partner, Greta Mills.
Meanwhile, the film This Is Not a Test, directed by Adam MacDonald, has received an R rating due to strong bloody violence, language, and other mature themes. Another film, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, also holds an R rating for similar content, including graphic nudity and drug use.
Additionally, the upcoming sequel to Buffy the Vampire Slayer has been officially titled New Sunnydale, as revealed by Sarah Michelle Gellar during an appearance on a podcast. She emphasized that the title signifies a continuation of Buffy Summers' journey.
