The upcoming Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is set for a release on July 2, with a base price of $29.99. Developed by Gameplay Group International, the game will feature 12 characters from both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, showcasing over 900 hand-drawn frames per character that aim to replicate the animation style of the original series.
Players can expect a range of gameplay options, including casual and ranked matches that utilize rollback netcode for enhanced performance. The game will support crossplay across platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Additionally, it will offer a single-player story mode and a gallery mode featuring exclusive art.
Pre-orders are already available, with a standard edition priced at $29.99 and a deluxe edition for $59.99. The deluxe edition includes perks like a digital art book, soundtrack, unique HUDs, and a Year 1 Pass that adds five new characters post-launch. Pre-order customers will also receive special bonuses, including a Samurai skin for Appa.
