The upcoming release of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is set for February 12, 2027, marking a significant reboot of the iconic franchise. This title celebrates the 30th anniversary of the original Tomb Raider, which debuted in 1996.
Developed through a collaboration between Crystal Dynamics and Polish studio Flying Wild Hog, the game features British archaeologist Lara Croft, voiced by Alix Wilton Regan. Players will experience an expansive world designed with Unreal Engine 5, shifting from linear puzzles to open exploration.
The trailer for Legacy of Atlantis was revealed during Sony's State of Play event, showcasing exciting gameplay elements. This game will serve as a precursor to the next installment in the series, Catalyst, expected to launch in 2028.
Additionally, the State of Play event highlighted the introduction of Marathon’s second season, Nightfall, which will reset player progress to enhance the competitive landscape.
