The newly launched XREAL 1S glasses are now available for $449, marking a decrease from the previous model's price of $499. These mixed reality glasses offer enhanced display features, including a resolution upgrade to 1200p and increased brightness of 700 nits, while weighing only 82g. The field-of-view has expanded to 52-degrees, and the aspect ratio has improved from 16:9 to 16:10, providing a more immersive experience for users.
Supporting various devices, the XREAL 1S can connect to laptops, smartphones, and gaming consoles like the Steam Deck. They also feature built-in speakers designed by Bose and adjustable lenses for ambient light control. In addition, both the XREAL 1S and XREAL One Pro models now support a new conversation feature called “Real 3D” following a recent system update.
Alongside the glasses, XREAL has introduced the XREAL Neo, a 10,000 mAh power bank priced at $99, designed to work seamlessly with devices like the Nintendo Switch. This power bank allows for direct content display without additional cables. Future developments include the anticipated Project Aura, XREAL's upcoming Android XR glasses, which are expected to be released soon.
