XREAL has unveiled the XREAL 1S augmented reality glasses at CES 2026, enhancing the portable display experience. The upgraded model features a standard virtual screen size of 171 inches and allows an impressive extension up to 500 inches. Improvements include a brightness increase from 600 nits to 700 nits, and a resolution enhancement from 1080p to 1200p, while maintaining a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The new glasses support advanced features such as 3DoF tracking and optional 6DoF anchoring with the XREAL Eye camera module, which adds capabilities for photo and video recording. To address compatibility issues, the company also introduced the XREAL Neo, an external hub with a 10,000mAh battery that enables charging while using the glasses and supports additional devices like the Nintendo Switch.
XREAL asserts that the combination of the Neo and 1S glasses will enhance video performance across various gaming platforms, allowing seamless streaming from devices without needing the original docking solution.
