Google has launched a new app called Find Hub for devices running Wear OS, enhancing user experience for managing connected devices. The app provides a “My devices” list that includes all devices associated with a Google Account, allowing users to check the last seen time and current battery level of their gadgets, such as phones and headphones.
Users can access a map view for navigation and utilize features like playing sound, securing the device, getting directions, and performing a factory reset. The interface resembles that of the existing phone app, with options to refresh the device list and switch accounts. However, it does not utilize the Pixel Watch 4’s ultra-wideband capabilities for precise location tracking.
To download the app, users can search for “Find Hub” directly in the Play Store on their watch or initiate installation from their phone. Additionally, Google is rolling out an update for the Find Hub phone application concurrently.
