Cadillac is set to enhance the performance of its CT5-V Blackwing for the 2026 model year with the introduction of the Precision Package. This new offering promises to elevate the sedan's capabilities, making it even more suitable for track days while maintaining its luxury appeal. Since its debut in 2021, the CT5-V Blackwing has been recognized for its powerful 668 horsepower supercharged V8 engine, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 205 mph.
The 2026 updates come as the vehicle bids farewell to the “Le Monstre” edition, which paid homage to the historic 1951 Cadillac Series 61 Le Mans racer. Despite these changes, Cadillac assures fans that the Blackwing retains its performance-focused DNA. Equipped with features such as MagneRide dampers, launch control, and a choice between a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission, the CT5-V Blackwing remains a formidable contender in the luxury performance segment.
With a curb weight of 4,092 lbs, the sedan can achieve 0 to 60 mph in as little as 3.5 seconds with the automatic transmission. These specifications continue to position the CT5-V Blackwing as a serious player in the realm of high-performance luxury sedans.
