The recent update to Apple’s Wallet app, with the launch of iOS 26, enhances the functionality of boarding passes, now supported by three major airlines. This upgrade introduces features such as live activities, luggage tracking through Find My, and integrated airport maps, consolidating travel information for users.
United and Delta have already adopted these new features, and Southwest Airlines joined them last week. Apple has announced plans for additional airlines to support the new boarding pass experience, including Air Canada, American Airlines, JetBlue, Qantas, and others.
This timely rollout coincides with the peak travel season, making it a convenient option for travelers. Users can now easily share their boarding passes with family and friends, simplifying the process of tracking flights.
