Tesla has introduced a mini version of its Cybertruck aimed at children, catering to young car enthusiasts. This toy vehicle, designed for kids aged six to twelve, boasts features like real LED headlights and a 500W motor, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 10 mph and travel up to 12 miles on a single charge.
Priced at $1,500, the mini Cybertruck also includes a $150 shipping fee and an optional $95 cover. The toy is equipped with a 22-volt lithium-ion battery, enhancing its functionality and safety with electric braking and an adjustable seat. Tesla's foray into the children's market follows previous offerings of wooden toy versions of their trucks.
The actual Cybertruck was launched in 2023 and has gained popularity for its distinctive design and advanced features, such as Full Self-Driving capabilities. With this new product, Tesla aims to engage a younger audience, allowing them to experience the thrill of driving a miniature electric vehicle.
