The TCL Note A1 NXTPAPER, a new productivity-focused device, is now available for pre-order on Kickstarter. Priced at $549, it will officially launch at the end of February. This tablet features an 11.5-inch NXTPAPER display, boasting a resolution of 2,200 x 1,440 and a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth interaction experience that distinguishes it from traditional E Ink screens.
Equipped with an 8,000mAh battery and 256GB of storage, the Note A1 also supports cloud services like Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. Users can utilize the T-Pen Pro for note-taking and drawing, while built-in microphones facilitate audio recording and transcription. The device's software capabilities include AI features such as real-time translation and handwriting beautification.
TCL emphasizes that this device is designed primarily for productivity, diverging from its previous models that catered more to media consumption. The company has yet to confirm whether the Note A1 will have access to the Play Store, but it runs on Android.
