Specifications listed in the now-removed page included a 24-hour battery life, IP67 water resistance, AUX input, USB-C power delivery, and a wireless charging base. The anticipated release date for this speaker is set for March 31.
Currently, Sonos offers two portable options: the Sonos Roam 2 priced at $179 USD and the larger Sonos Move 2 at $499 USD. This new product could fill a gap in the lineup at around $300 USD. In contrast, Apple lacks a portable AirPlay 2 speaker, although it does offer the Beats Pill, a Bluetooth speaker priced under $129.
