Samsung has set a goal to be the first company to offer native integration of Google Photos into its television lineup. This initiative aims to enhance the viewing experience by allowing users to interact with their photos while navigating the TV's operating system, incorporating these visuals into everyday moments.
The integration will include three distinct features. The first, called Memories, is expected to launch in March 2026 and will provide curated stories from users' photo libraries. This feature will be exclusive to Samsung TVs for the first six months. Following this, the Create with AI tool, utilizing Google DeepMind’s technology, will allow users to create short videos from images and apply themed templates. Its release is anticipated in the second half of 2026.
Lastly, Personalized Results will generate themed slideshows based on users' photos, focusing on subjects like travel and nature, with a planned rollout in late 2026. This suite of features intends to deepen the connection between Samsung TV users and their personal photo collections.
