Samsung has released a new beta version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25, marking the third beta update since the program began in early December. This latest beta, identified as CZA3, is approximately 1.2GB in size and includes the January 2026 security patch, making the Galaxy S25 the first device to receive this month's update.

Improvements have also been made regarding screen lag with Live Effect in the gallery, as well as high power consumption from specific applications. Users can download the update through Settings > Software update > Download and install if their device is part of the beta program.
Looking ahead, the stable version of One UI 8.5 is expected to be released alongside the Galaxy S26, following the pattern seen with previous device launches. This beta program is expanding to more countries, including Poland and India, as Samsung continues its testing efforts.
