Samsung's new flagship, the Galaxy S26, is set to launch on March 11, with preorder deliveries beginning as early as March 6. In just over a week since preorders began, the device has already garnered 1.35 million orders in South Korea, marking a significant increase compared to previous models.
The Galaxy S25 achieved 1.3 million preorders during the same period last year, highlighting the heightened interest in the S26 lineup. Notably, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has emerged as the favored choice, making up approximately 70% of all preorders, a record for any Ultra model from Samsung.
Consumer enthusiasm is further bolstered by the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club, with over 30% of buyers opting to join. This program offers monthly payment plans alongside benefits like Samsung Care+ and accidental damage coverage. Enhanced features of the Galaxy S26 include a Privacy Display, faster charging, and improved camera capabilities, indicating a strong potential for the device to become Samsung's best-selling flagship to date.
