Samsung's latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, showcases significant advancements as it prepares for its debut at CES 2026. With a brightness rating of 430 ISO lumens, the new model nearly doubles the brightness of its predecessor, the 2022 Freestyle, which was rated at 230 ISO lumens. This enhancement aims to address previous criticisms regarding brightness levels in portable projectors.
Designed for versatility, the Freestyle+ retains a familiar appearance, featuring a rotation capability of 160 degrees that facilitates easy setup in various environments, including homes, Airbnbs, and meeting spaces. It now supports Q-Symphony, enabling pairing with Samsung soundbars for improved audio experience.
The projector also incorporates advanced features such as Vision AI, which allows users to control settings via Bixby through the remote. Enhanced functionalities include 3D Auto Keystone correction, which adjusts images projected onto uneven surfaces, and Wall Calibration, which fine-tunes color tones based on the projection surface. The Freestyle+ can project images up to 100 inches in 1080p, providing a comprehensive solution for diverse viewing needs.
