Apple is set to announce a new, more affordable laptop model, expected to be named the MacBook Neo, on March 4, 2026. The device, which has been referenced in a regulatory document, is anticipated to feature an iPhone chip, either the A18 Pro or A19 Pro, and a 12.9-inch display.
Although the link to the MacBook Neo briefly appeared on Apple's EU regulatory site, it has since been removed, leaving some details unconfirmed. Speculation suggests that the laptop could be available in vibrant colors such as yellow, green, blue, and pink, aiming to attract a broader audience.
Pricing for this new model has been estimated between $599 and $799, positioning it below the current MacBook Air. On launch day, media representatives will have the opportunity to engage with the MacBook Neo during the "Apple Experience" events taking place in New York, London, and Shanghai at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. There will be no live stream for this event, so announcements will follow through a press release on Apple’s Newsroom website.
