The updated Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow introduces significant improvements, particularly with its mopping capabilities. Priced at $1,000, this new model is designed to be more accessible than its predecessor, the original Qrevo Curv, which launched at $1,600. The Curv 2 Flow features a state-of-the-art mopping system known as the SpiraFlow Roller Mop, which spins at 220 rpm and applies over 15 newtons of pressure, enhancing its cleaning efficiency.
While maintaining a similar aesthetic to its predecessor, this model offers improvements in suction power, now reaching 20,000 pascals, compared to 18,500 Pa from the original. Its ability to navigate obstacles remains intact, as it can still clear thresholds up to 4 centimeters high. Additionally, the dock utilizes 167-degree Fahrenheit water to clean the mop, reducing bacteria effectively.
Despite these upgrades, users may find some limitations, such as the absence of a mop-only mode and uneven performance in corners. The charging time is approximately 3 hours.
