Apple has confirmed the discontinuation of the Mac Pro, a decision that surprised many but was anticipated following the launch of the M2 Ultra model in June 2023. The company has removed the product from its main website and store but still offers over 20 units through its Certified Refurbished store.
The available Mac Pro units include both rack and desktop configurations, with prices starting at $6,289 for the model featuring a 24-core CPU and 60-core GPU, and reaching up to $10,029 for a higher-end version with a 76-core GPU. Customers can opt for AppleCare+ and AppleCare One during the purchase process, which also comes with a one-year limited warranty, alongside free delivery and returns.
As speculation continues regarding whether Apple will direct current Mac Pro users towards the Mac Studio, the future of the product line remains uncertain. For those interested in the remaining Mac Pro inventory, it is accessible through Apple’s Certified Refurbished store.
