Google has initiated the release of the June 2026 update for its Wear OS 7, targeting the Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4. The update, identified as CP2A.260603.001, is based on Android 17 and covers both Bluetooth/Wi-Fi and LTE models. Users can prompt the download by repeatedly tapping the “Your watch is up to date” option in system settings.
Among the enhancements, the update features a more accurate “Raise to Talk” function for the Pixel Watch 4, and introduces “Remote Media Routing,” allowing users to manage audio and video outputs directly from their watch. This new capability facilitates seamless switching between devices like Google Cast and Bluetooth headphones.
Additional updates include the integration of Emergency Sharing with features such as Loss of Pulse and Car Crash Detection, which alerts emergency contacts in critical situations. The Messages app has also been revamped, now supporting keyboard and voice search options directly from the contact list. Interface changes emphasize Material3 design elements, enhancing user experience with larger contact photos and quick action buttons.
