Users of the Pixel Watch are currently facing issues with the functionality of the "Find My Phone" and ECG apps, which are either crashing or failing to operate altogether. Reports indicate that both the 41mm Watch 3 and 45mm Watch 4 models are affected, with the "Find My Phone" feature crashing upon activation, leading users back to the watch face without any results.
While there has been a fix implemented for the "Find My Phone" function as of May 30, allowing it to work properly again, the ECG app remains non-functional. Users attempting to access the ECG app are met with an error message instructing them to reopen the app. This issue appears to be widespread among Pixel Watch 3 and 4 owners.
Prior to these problems, the last major software update for the Pixel Watch was released in March 2026. The exact cause of the current app malfunctions is unclear, although it is suspected that recent updates may be responsible.
