The rollout of screen automation using Gemini has begun for the Pixel 10 series, coinciding with the March 2026 Feature Drop. This feature allows users to perform tasks such as booking rides and ordering food through compatible applications like Lyft, Uber, and Starbucks.
Users can issue commands in the Gemini prompt box, including options for scheduling rides or adding items to grocery carts. Upon first use, users must agree to the terms and will see notifications indicating task progress. The automation operates within a secure virtual environment on the device, utilizing cloud processing for efficiency.
Screen automation is available on the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL models, as well as the unofficially listed Pixel 10 Pro Fold, all running Android 16 QPR3. Usage limits vary by subscription level, ranging from five requests per day for free users to 120 for those with AI Ultra access.
