Philips Hue is set to launch a new feature named SpatialAware in spring 2026, designed to harmonize lighting in a room by coordinating colors among all light points. This feature is exclusive to the Hue Bridge Pro and utilizes augmented reality through a smartphone camera to map the locations of individual lights.
Upon scanning, a smart algorithm adjusts each light's color to create a natural ambiance, with options like "Lake Mist" available for selection. Additionally, lamps added after the initial setup will be integrated into the system.
Alongside SpatialAware, Philips Hue is enhancing its offerings by allowing users to migrate multiple Hue Bridges to a single Bridge Pro. Upcoming compatibility with Apple Home will enable features like live video and real-time alerts on the Apple TV app. New updates to the Hue AI assistant will support natural language commands for creating automations and add new languages including Dutch, German, and Spanish. All these enhancements are anticipated to roll out in Q1 2026.
