A custom-built John Cooper Works (JCW) Convertible has emerged from MINI Plant Oxford, showcasing an unprecedented level of personalization. This unique project, known internally as MINI.01, reflects the owner's passion for the Philadelphia Eagles, evident in its striking black and green color scheme.
The standout characteristic of this bespoke vehicle is its intricate paint design, featuring a bold diagonal split that inverts colors between the driver’s and passenger sides. This innovative approach sets it apart from typical two-tone options available in the market. The soft top is adorned with a tonal Union Jack graphic, paying homage to the brand's British heritage.
Markus Grüneisl, CEO of Plants Oxford and Swindon, expressed pride in the craftsmanship displayed in this project, emphasizing the collaboration among the MINI product and design teams. The meticulous attention to detail is designed to resonate with the local market while highlighting the capabilities of the production team in the UK.
