Motorola is set to unveil its first book-style foldable device, the Razr Fold, at MWC 2026, following an initial announcement at CES. This new foldable features impressive specifications, including support for the Pen Ultra stylus and a total of five cameras. Notably, the device boasts an exceptional peak brightness of 6200 nits for its main 8.1-inch foldable display and 6000 nits for the external screen, significantly outperforming competitors like the Pixel 10 Fold Pro.
The Razr Fold's main display has a resolution of 2,484 x 2,232 with a peak refresh rate of 120Hz, while the external display reaches 2,520 x 1,080 at 165Hz. Both screens are compatible with Dolby Vision technology. Powering these bright displays is a silicon-carbon 6,000mAh battery, which is leading in energy density among foldables, and supports fast charging up to 80W as well as 50W wireless charging.
The device maintains a slim profile, measuring 4.6mm when open and 9.9mm when closed. While slightly thicker than Samsung’s latest model, the Razr Fold houses a larger battery. Available in a Blackened Blue with a piqué design and a Lily White option, the foldable is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and features a liquid-cooling system for optimal performance.
