The new Mercedes-Benz VLE aims to redefine the concept of a luxurious vehicle, offering features typically associated with high-end living rooms. This innovative model, dubbed a "Grand Limousine," is designed to provide exceptional comfort, boasting reclining massaging seats, a 22-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, and a massive 31.3-inch ultrawide 8K display for rear passengers.
Measuring 216 inches in length, the VLE surpasses the size of the GLS SUV by ten inches and has an internal ceiling height of 49 inches, allowing ample space for passengers. Configurable for up to eight occupants, it is ideally suited with two captain's chairs for enhanced comfort.
Two powertrain options are set to be available: the VLE 300 with front-wheel drive and 272 horsepower, and the VLE 400 4MATIC, featuring an all-wheel drive system with 416 hp. Both versions utilize a robust 115-kilowatt-hour battery designed to deliver a range of approximately 435 miles on the European WLTP test cycle.
