Lenovo is set to launch its latest laptop, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist, in June 2026 with a starting price of $1,650. This device, designed for professional environments, features a motorized display that can pivot to follow users, enhancing presentations in meeting rooms. This innovative approach builds on previous designs, like the 2012 ThinkPad Twist.
At CES 2026, the Gen 7 Auto Twist was demonstrated, showcasing its ability to rotate its screen seamlessly. It includes an AI-powered mode that displays large eyes on the screen, offering a unique interactive experience. Although voice command functionality was difficult to verify due to the busy surroundings, the laptop appears to have engaging features aimed at enhancing user interaction.
Weighing just over 3 pounds, the device runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and boasts a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a brightness of 500 nits, making it ideal for indoor use. Lenovo also presented other concepts at the event, such as the ThinkPad Rollable XD and Legion Pro Rollable laptops, but details on their commercial release remain unconfirmed.
