Beginning this Friday, six select Lakers games will be available for streaming in Apple Immersive through the Apple Vision Pro. This initiative follows an announcement made by Apple in October regarding the immersive experience expected to launch in 2026. Customers in select markets, including Japan, Singapore, and South Korea, can enjoy the live games, while those elsewhere can access replays and highlights 24 hours post-game.
In Southern California, Hawaii, and parts of Nevada, Spectrum Internet users can download the new Spectrum SportsNet app to watch live games, provided they have an active subscription with any video provider that includes Spectrum SportsNet. Additionally, users with a free NBA ID can access live games through the NBA app. Outside the Lakers’ broadcast territory, Spectrum subscribers can still view replays via the same app.
For an optimal viewing experience, Apple Vision Pro users will need a high-speed internet connection, as the immersive feed can reach up to 150 Mbps. The experience includes seven unique viewing angles and features 3D in-game graphics, enhancing the visual quality with Spatial Audio capturing the ambiance of the arena.
